Under the hood is a fine replacement for International’s six-cylinder, because you now have a trusty Chevy 350 V8. But more than just good power, it has reliable components like an aluminum radiator and electric fan, so this big rig stays cool even in traffic. But that’s the practical side. What you really want to know is how the headers feed the glasspacks before exiting out of those tall stacks. Oh yes, this one has some serious presence with its appearance and sound! It also sits so sinisterly low when parked thanks to adjustable airbags in the rear. On the road this feels nice thanks to an independent front suspension and trailing arm rear likely borrowed from a muscle car era Chevy. Add in more great driving features like the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, front disc brakes, and the grip of modern Toyo tires, and this a cool looking custom rig that can easily take the long haul.
