The engine of choice here is a 350 cubic inch small block V8 that’s no longer pretending to be stock. There’s a lot of chrome, from the Edelbrock air cleaner to the polished intake manifold to the alternator and master cylinder, so everything sparkles when you open the hood. Finned valve covers come from a Z/28 and look great here and there’s a giant aluminum radiator up front to keep it all cool. The transmission has been upgraded to a TH350 3-speed automatic, a step up from the original PowerGlide 2-speed, and with factory power steering and disc brakes, it’s a very easy cruiser. A new exhaust system with dual mufflers sounds flat-out awesome and definitely gives this formal ride an attitude.
