This is a 460 cubic-inch big block professionally built by John Loper High Performance. While massive displacement is enough for some, this performance machine was enhanced much further with a hi-rise intake and dual four-barrel carburetors (it’s so much power to be contained that even the butterfly intake is peeking out from the top of the hood!) And this V8 is looking also good. Almost everything is polished that can be, including the Ford Motorsports valve covers. Even the firewall is super-smooth, so you could easily win awards for just the showmanship alone. Of course, if you choose to have the exhaust cutouts let the side pipes roar, people might be too scared to even get close to this motor. The power gets to the ground via a stout Ford C6 three-speed automatic on its way to a Ford 9-inch rear. And on a build like this, you know they made sure the rest of it was ready to handle the big power. That’s why you have a tubular steel chassis, tubular A-arm front suspension, front disc brakes, four-link rear, and adjustable coilovers at all corners.
