1979 Lincoln Mark V. I painted it recently with “hot rod black” Satin black single stage paint. The body was in great shape before I painted it. This is NOT a show quality paint job but rather a decent driver quality. The interior is in near perfect condition, the only real flaw is the top of the back seat is damaged from the sun. I Have some gray fabric that matches the dash fabric and intended to cut a piece to cover it up but I have not done it yet. I have driven this car over 500 miles since I bought it a few months ago and it runs and drives great. I lowered it by cutting the springs all the way around and it gives it a great stance in my opinion. The ride quality is not bad but it did make it a little harsher ride than the original springs, but I love the look and feel like it was worth the sacrifice in ride. I have had this car on the interstate and it cruises smooth and straight. The power windows all work and the power seat works, cruise control works and heater works good. The ac I believe will work with a charge. The wheels are original to the car I just painted them and removed the center caps. I still have the caps and it would be easy to strip the red paint off if you like that look better. This car could be put back to original ride height fairly easily with new original springs. The car was originally painted “dove gray” which was a special edition color in 79.
