1959 Chevrolet Bel Air Custom
The car has it’s original 283 engine with automatic and power steering.
I have had the car since 2009. I added an interior from a 1965 Ford Thunderbird, seats and console. I added a DIN electronic audio / navigation / back up camera and Bluetooth device.
Car has new tires, new aluminum radiator, new glass all around except for the rear window. The car has a gas filler setup from a 1968 Dodge Charger that sets on the driver rear fin and a filler tube through the trunk into the tank. New center caps and new lug nuts were added to the old school mags that came with the car. Carpet, headliner, door and rear side quarter upholstery are all new. Car has new Chevrolet floor mats and trunk has new mat. Shocks are new all around as is the dual exhaust with chrome tips. New door and trunk weatherstrip. New antenna, visors and mirror. New brakes all around. The car had the heater system removed. New light switch and ignition switch. 4 BBl carburetor was professionally rebuilt by Custom Carburetor of New Jersey.
The odometer shows about 13,900 miles, assumed to be 113,900.
The car should have new after-market gauges added, in my opinion as some do not seem to operate correctly.
The headlights are from a 2005 VW Golf with a 1980’s Chevrolet van grille. The doors were shaved so that there are no door handles. They open with with electronic Fob’s to open both driver and passenger. There are hidden safety buttons also on the car. The hood is a Corvette stinger style. The paint is nice with some small imperfections. A couple of chips on the hood and a few other places.
Ohio title in my name.
