This gorgeous 150 Custom’s changes are the result of a four-year custom build completed in 2012. With an emphasis on show quality appearance, the 454 CI V-8 Chevy big-block engine now features a polished intake manifold, valve covers and custom air cleaner. There are quality headers feeding into a dual exhaust system to let it breathe freely, with the engine itself tucked down into a beautifully redone engine bay with a smoothed firewall, custom radiator cover and billet hood hinges. Behind this is a 4-speed manual transmission, and this car’s refreshing also included power steering and Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes with polished surfacing visible behind the wheels. That sense of quality continues inside with the customized red leather interior.

In addition to black trim-accented bucket seats and door panels, there are custom Dolphin gauges within the factory bezel, Vintage Air, a Hurst short-throw shifter with white ball knob, custom trans tunnel, factory-type in-dash clock, billet-type foot pedals and remote doors and gas door functionality. Further details on the exterior are chrome front midbody side spear, rear body chrome color separation, round polished exhaust exits, modern large-diameter Billet Specialties wheels and Nitto Extreme tires. Taken together, this is a package that will elicit a sense of respect for its craftsmanship and give the owner a sense of pride to show it off; and, with 454 CI under the hood, it might be fun later on Saturday night as well.
